Ian Mahinmi, a pro basketball player in the NBA, a global entrepreneur and visionary, founded the Ian Mahinmi I AM Foundation in 2017. Through the foundation, he works to empower and mentor children in the places he calls home – Benin, France, San Antonio and the NBA city in which he plays. He is also dedicated to the advancement of youth through service, mentorship and leadership.  In addition, the I AM Foundation, is working to build strong communities through advocacy, awareness, education, programming, basketball camps, and grant funding for small business owners.  Truly humbled and grateful for the opportunities that allowed his hard work to be recognized and the position he has now to help others, Ian wants to give back to the communities in the places Where He’s FROM, Where He LIVES, Where He PLAYS.
